I like the concept of the black paint in relation with athletes specifically football and baseball. The image of the bust is evident of how far the book will go back in the setting of the book will be. The details  

I really like how there is no "image" in this book cover. It is a series of lines making a maze that has the title and the author in the center. That causes a focal point. 

I really like the simplicity of this book cover. There is no image and it is just black and white. The lines of the words are distorted making it look like a digital glitch

This book cover has inverted colors except for the dress and the shoes. They're left pink. And then the title of the book and the author make an X across the little girl and the title is in pink as well. I found this kind of creepy but cool.

This Book cover captures the book and its theme. The background spray paint resembles a neighborhood that is decomposed and dangerous. The jacket conveys a gang/ group and the two boys expresses friendship/ togetherness. These themes are easily shown through one picture.

Presentation Board Reflection

The most challenging aspect of creating my logo design was "cleaning up" my drawing. Cleaning up was just connecting broken anchors and smoothing out the surfaces with the use of the handles. I literally had to do this for three given class periods yet, it helped me improve on my handling skills and cohesiveness with anchors. I overcame this challenge with use of Ms. Lee's guidance and many trails and error. The successful aspect of my logo was the color way chosen. 

Winter Break

Over Mid-Winter break I caught up on a lot of sleep that I lacked throughout the school year. I spent time with my brother playing video games, shopping, listened to music and danced. I spent time with my only friend Sofia. She came to my house and we had a great playdate. We Chinese food, played 2, and watched a movie. We also went to a Knicks game. I had a great time during the break.

This piece was really interesting because it is a modern wheelchair. It has handles to make transportation significantly easier for the disabled. It is more effective than the average wheelchair and a step in the right direction for technological improvement. I really liked it.
